Michigan Risk Score Validation: Updates from the PICC-Brazil Research Group

The Michigan Risk Score validation project in Brazil is heating up! Since the last time we spoke with Prof. Eneida Rejane Rabelo da Silva, the PICC-Brazil Research Group has been hard at work. Here is what has happened since our last update.

The team met on July 26, 2018 in São Paulo with representatives from all 17 institutions where PICC data will be collected.
In September, Prof. Rabelo da Silva and Marco Saffi made the journey here to Ann Arbor for a technical visit at the University of Michigan Hospital.
October saw the data collection tool being finalized and piloted, including patient data. In the final week of the month, the official start of reporting began!
