MAGIC [in Milan]

In November of 2018, I was interviewed by Drs. Ludovico Furlan, Giorgio Costantino, and Nicola Montano from the University of Milan. They contacted me because the Italian Society of Internal Medicine Choosing Wisely Campaign has incorporated the Society of General Internal Medicines Choosing Wisely recommendations related to PICCs. The team at the University of Milan is seeking to develop an educational program to improve central venous access and decision-making related to intravenous devices centered on MAGIC. Their vision is to educate residents and trainees on this recommendation through an online training course which would include decision-making related to vascular devices.
