Based on the findings of the JTH paper “The Michigan Risk Score to Predict Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter-Associated Thrombosis” our risk score calculator will predict the risk of DVT in patients with peripherally inserted central catheters.

What you’ll get: A point score, a risk classification (Class I to Class IV), and a probability of VTE if the new PICC is placed.

- Current WBC count
- Number of PICC lumens
- Patient history: VTE, active cancer
